New Ideas
Does anyone have any new ideas....
We are looking to see what you all would like to either read Erik write about or training video ideas. Of course this will all be done through Muscular Development. But I would like to get some input from you all as well. We have always talked about how much Erik and I appreciate all of your support, but now we would like to continue to give back and try some new topics or video ideas for you all!

hi, thanks, i would like to see how erik trains those massive trunks, so that would be a leg workout and also a typical day in his life, i once saw one i remember, from mdtv but, it doesn't hurt to do another. my .02.

Just yesterday i was telling my girlfriend about erik and the video you guys did for MD where he gets up and does his cardio with play station in hand etc. Told her it was cool to see a true day in the life, and that erik has similar job to me, and ive slept in my car and ate there too. So like the above id like to see another day in the life idea, back training would be my choice.
I think ita great that your on here asking what we the fans want, very impressed.

I want to know how he is training his lagging bodyparts, to bring them up with his lower body. Thats more interesting then him training parts that already are growing well

I'd love to see more vids about his daily life, what his schedule is like, a bit like the one he made for the prep for the Europa. It's very motivating for us here to see that in fact some pro BB can have a normal life be a husband have a son and a nice family life, while training hard and have an awesome physique !

Erik does what works for him, not what works for everyone else. He is still very new to this sport only been competing for five years. I think that his exercise phys education helps him more so with his training. Also Erik trains alone, he has no training partner....it allows him to get the job done and still have time to come home for family time.

Erik eats fairly clean...it is offseason so he doesnt deprive himself if he wants something he eats it but he also trains really hard everyday so I am sure he works off whatever non clean food he eats.

I think more training vids of him would just be nice, the leg training vid was great, I actually took a few things from that vid and tried them out on Sunday and.... DAMN! He def trains hard. I would like to just see some more of his training, especially back. The day in the life video was awesome as well, like mentioned another one of those would be nice. Maybe even one around the time you guys are prepping for your show. But all in all, I just wanna see the dude compete in 2010!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait.

can he cook.... maybe he can start a cooking show for bodybuilders... now that would be ultra cool
throw in some training but not repetative if possible...

Actually Erik has some really great recipes for inseason cooking. I usually cook for him offseason, I would inseason but he prefers to cook for himself. But a cooking show is definetly a awesome idea!!! He loves watching the food channel when he is doing cardio I am sure he has plenty of ideas to have his own show!

I actually can not wait for him to compete again either! I know I am crazy, right lol. I really enjoy watching him change and prepare to be on stage...this year will be a lil more difficult with the new baby coming but I will do my best to make sure its easier for him.

I want to see what he eats. I am tired of all these training videos. Very few people talk about what they eat other than Ronnie and Kai who recently fessed up about his crazy diet. That is what separates pros from everyone else.

Oh man... our grocery bill is off the charts...he eats a ton of protein...ground turkey, ground beef and steaks the price of meat is outrageous but you do what you gotta do...He goes thru all that very fast so we are usally at walmart several times a week! Now our lil boy has been eating alot better hes not so picky anymore because he is trying to look like daddy lol so our grocery bill is crazy.

Well I can tell you that Erik doesnt have a hearty appetite it is sometimes very hard for him to eat he has to almost force himself sometimes. But somehow he manages lol. Right now I know he is doing a few mass shakes, I do not know all the ingredients he puts in them cause it is always different but I know it starts out with Real Gains, by Universal. He sometimes adds oats or oat bran or i buy him this cereal called crunchy nuggets lol kinda like a granola. then usually I make him his lunch of either ground turkey or beef with a vegetable and rice or sweet potato...I know he does a few more shakes through out the day and then he eats dinner twice in the evening. That is whatever I am making except he eats his clean before I add anything to whatever I am making.
