Bowflex XTL question
I bought one of these new in the box at an estate sale for $20.00.(yep I probably paid to much ha ha). Then I sent off for the three boxes of free recall parts.
I have the damn thing sold for $300.00 but the guy who wants it says he doesn't want it if it doesn't incline for bench.
It looks to me like if you install the Lat tower you can't use the incline and I can't find any pictures in the manual or over the internet showing the seat in the incline position with the tower on.
If anyone remembers anything about this please inform me.

Give him a cinder block to place under the head of the unit, and then tell him to STFU.

Should I write Bowflex on the cinder block and raise the price to $350.00?

I would. And when he looks puzzled, I would also tell him that time is running out, and that another potential buyer is coming to look at it, and that this guy owns his own cinder block and won't need you to throw one in with the deal.

thats the style bowflex i have, i got the xtlu tho, and there is an incline, even after the lat tower is installed, u can still incline the bench. there is a pin in the seat, the lower part of the bench the smaller section. u lift the longer top section pull the pin and slide it up and let it click in... so ur good to go, but tell him that the parts kit allows for this and increase the price

LOL! I'd get a 2nd cinder block, and a piece of pipe, and make myself a barbell, and then do squats and deadlifts.

I had a similar device,
the reason you would want the incline is because of the placement of the handles.
the incline actually allows you to simulate a flat bench.
I sold mine for 100 bucks btw and got a gym membership

Do you think we could discuss a deal on it? I mean, I'd pay like, $20 for it. Shipping might be an issue, but I'll PM you with payment details if you agree.

Some of the new models sell for over $2K! And that's not the worst of it; if you read the fine print in the bowflex monthly payment plan, the interest rate defaults to over 20%, if just one payment is late. They nail you coming and going.
