How much Casein Protein should I take before bed?

I am currently cutting and I am on a good diet. Keeping carbs low throughout my second half of the day, eating at least 5 meals a day, and doing 20min of cardio on lifting days and 60min cardio on non-lifting days. I'm eating about 1g protein/lb (I weigh 200 atm).

My question is, how much casein protein should I drink before I go to sleep? I'm currently doing 2 heaping scoops of the ON casein. Is that too much?

    Thanks.

Probably. What is your post workout shake, and the rest of your meals?

If you weigh 200 and your PWO is 40 at least, 160 isn't too hard to come by. Say 30g of protein including milk before bed, you should be able to get 130 from your meals.

You don't want all your protein ( or nutrients in general) to be from shakes. Real food is important.

I think 1 scoop is enough. have it with some milk. the entire idea around taking caisen before bed is to keep your body from going into a catabolic state.

I usually have at least 3 solid food protein meals a day including fish, lean pork, and chicken breast. The serving size is about the size of my fist. After work outs, I will usually drink 2 scoops of the ON whey, so that's 48g of protein IIRC.

I drink all my shakes with water. I am mildly lactose intolerant. It's funny because I only have the runs if I drink protein shakes with milk. However, If i drink milk or protein shake with water, I have no problem.
