Sorry if this is a redundant thread (it seems alot are)
But I just read that you should steer clear of pork chops and stick mostly to Fish and Chicken.
Is this true? Is this a fatty meat? It looks pretty lean to me and I've been eating the hell out of them!!!
Please shed some light on this guys!!

Pork chops can be very lean. I like to throw in pork on occasion. I like the taste and I like the change of pace. I've often wondered why it doesn't get more attention in the bodybuilding world. I think it has something to do with the "stigma". People view pork as fatty and unhealthy. However, pork these days is much leaner then it used to be due to selective breeding, different feed, stuff like that - they are engineering it to be healthier.

pork chops fit into the 'everything in moderation' group for me...its the kind of thing i'll have 2-3 times a month to mix it up.
very easy recipe:
cut all fat off chop
cook chop 3/4
add low fat low sodium cream of mushroom soup
leave to simmer for 10 min
very nice with rice.

Easy tastier recipe
1. Light grill
2. Place pork chops in dog bowl or garbage (either will do- no effect on macros)
3. Remove steak from refrierator
4. Apply favorite seasoning
5. Place on grill and cookk until red and juicyFounder of MMDELAD

Porchops are sorta high in calories, even in moderation. I try to steer clear of them, and if the girlfriend just has to make em I chop of the fat and that takes off about 80 or so calories. I try to stick with chicken breast and turkey meat both are low cal

Step 1. Put Mrs Dash on said pork chop
Step 2. Broil that ish on high 6 min or so on each side. I always buy at least 3/4inch think chops.
Step 3. Grub down. Feel free to grab the A.1 for an even better ride with little extra macros.
