It makes no sense to me how those are considered elite. Does hitting a raw elite total make you a pro, like a equipped elite total does?
I compete in strongman at 200. I would be a 198 in powerlifting. A 1471 total is about what I would open with.(525/375/585 would be my openers as of now)...
If anyone follows raw powerlifting, please fill me in. Also, will hitting a raw elite total get you noticed by companies and bring potentil sponsors or is it not a big deal?
