worst foods in America!
I'd like one order of triple-bypass! Oh, and a diet coke!
Hum, Ok, ...NOW I understand why America is F A T !!!!
O My God, what are we feeding ourselves?? If you want to kill your worst enemy, check out this LIST OF 30 WORST FOODS IN AMERICA! Plan the hit!
I am very food-educated as I need to eat out because of my job and the need to eat out so I spend a lot of time researching, asking questions, analysing and doing my best to analyse food from description and also how it looks(and tastes). Well, this list shocked me.
-Would you ever believe that a Blimbie vegetarian sub has 60g fat and 3532mg of sodium!!
-Quizno's tuna melt sandwich has 1760 cals! 133g fat. Poor tuna!
-Chili's smokehouse burger is 1901 calories! Alone with no sides!
-Uno individual pizza(you know the type you give a kid) has 165g fat! 4920mg sodium!
-My biggest shock: Baskin robins Oreo shake has 263g sugar!!takes minutes to drink! How do you FIT that much junk in a glass!!
check out the list:
http://eatthis.menshealth.com/30.php
Obviously, you're HERE(bb.com) so you are already health conscious, and yet, may still be surprised by these numbers. What chance does an 'average' person stand!!! Ouch!
my poor arteries! I would not put these foods near my mouth, not even cheat meal. If you find any more good data like this, please share. Perhaps we saved ONE person today from a triple-bypass!!!!!!

Yeah I have that issue of Men's Health, it's a great magazine for nutrition and workout info! I can't believe the Chili's Southwestern Jalapeno Smokehouse Bacon Cheeseburger is the worst burger in America, I remember eating one with the fries when I was cutting, what a mistake! It was delicious though :]

None of those really surprise me...
Most of Quiznos premium subs are horrible for you. The large chicken carbonara has over 1500 calories, too. I'd guess that's why they held out so long on giving out nutritional information. And I remember eating an entire pizza (or two) when I was little, wasn't a fat kid either, those were the days lol. Now it's 2-3 slices on a cheat day. Such is life.

I have to throw the Monte Cristo sandwich out there...
So you think a sodium filled, ham, mayonaise and cheese sandwich is bad...
Throw some batter on it, deep fry it and drench it with preserves, maple syrup, sugar or cream.
Oh and don't forget the fries.
Comfort food?? As comforting as a rib spreader...
A side order of thunder thighs and a crash cart is the second course.

LARGE. That's key. You don't HAVE TO order a large. Portioning is just as much of a problem in society as excess sugar/fats are.

I would argue that portions are pretty much the sole problem. Nothing wrong with splitting an appetizer at Applebee's with a person or two or eating half of your entree and then taking the rest home for later (unless it's your cheat day).

Portion has become the biggest problem... 'Moderation' has always been a key in life.. I eat ice cream/dark chocolate almost everyday, but a Dove dark chocolate bar takes me over a week to eat and a pint of ice cream takes me like a month haha.
Didn't they increase restaurants/buffet plate size by like 2-4 inches or something? I was reading it somewhere..

i work in a steel shop, the best investment ive ever made was a bodybugg, somedays if i dont do alot and its not too hot, i'll only burn maybe 3000, but some days if i have a tough day, and a workout, i'll get close to 5000 cals... before when i just guessed at my calories, i was trying to cut on like 2200 a day and crashing hard like all these guys do, binging out at the end of the week... bulking is fun though, i get to eat all the fun stuff like donuts and cake and whatever...
i also used to train mma, and ate like some of these true hardgainers... but im a ffb, so if i dont do anything my bmr is only like 2200 now i just lift, and do cardio for a warmup and maybe 30 min once a week for the heart...

Cinnabon and malls are inseparable. Consider it a symbiotic relationship: Researchers have found that men are turned on by the smell of cinnamon rolls, and further studies have shown that men are more likely to spend money when they?re thinking about sex. But just because Cinnabon might be good for Gap doesn?t mean it?s at all good for you. This dangerously bloated bun contains nearly an entire day?s worth of fat and more than half of your daily allotment of calories. (For those keeping score, that?s as much as you?ll find in 8 White Castle hamburgers.)
wtf?? I've never gotten a boner smelling cinnabons...

If the normal was half the size, that would still be 1200 calories in one shake.
Disgusting.

That's the reason right there why i choose to not eat out very often. You'd never realise these things half the time if nobody presented the actual figures.
