USC wouldve curb stomped Florida.

One of the best defenses in school history....If not THE best....

Both teams had embarrassing conference losses, yet Florida managed to suck more BCS cawk and gain more support (with the help of Tebow as their poster child) to make it to the NC where they faced.........Oklahoma...? Really???

I'm not saying it would be a BLOW OUT, so i guess curb stomp isn't the proper use of words. However IF they would have matched up against eachother, we all know damn well who would have came out on top......

discuss.

and in b4, that was last season, stop living in the past, i wanna marry tebow, etc. etc.

The only thing I can be critacal of the USC defense for is their continued inablity to stop mobile QBs.

I don't know about curb stomped, but I do think it would have been a much better game and an overall epic matchup between two extremely good teams.

I really don't know who I would have picked to win.

i would have rather watched utah vs florida even if it turned out to be 100-0 florida..they went undefeated and beat an sec powerhouse

I'm laughing at the fact that he thinks usc would "curb stomp" Florida

but i do think its funny that before the game everyone was like "omg oklahoma best offense ever! blah blah blah" and people were excited about the game but after they faced a real defense and got shut down now they suck and shouldnt have been there...

ya, im just tryin to get some hype before the season. of course it would have been an amazing game and it seems like everyone knows who REALLY should have played that game against florida.

lol. who are these "people"? you act like everyone was totally convinced oklahoma was the rightful opponent before it happened. Which is funny when taking into account OU's recent history in bowl games (1-5 in last 6 bowl games, one loss coming via ****-stomp by USC).

I wasn't aware we were discussing the season prior to last when evaluating a team's ability to stop a mobile QB. I was under the assumption we were talking about LAST season's defense who, if you watched any of USC's games, didn't have a trouble stopping anyone really, save Jacquizz Rodgers. That's kinda why I had the whole "last year" phrase in the title of the thread.

Both Ole Miss and Oregon State were pretty solid teams last year. Both were very big upsets, but nothing too insane.
