Energizer Bunny look out...I have APS Phenadrine :)

Here it is... The start to my APS Phenadrine log! I want to thank the APS crew for giving me the opportunity to try this exciting new product.



My interest in this product is mainly for the energy. (a little fat loss along the way wouldn't hurt either ) I am a single mom of two boys who drags her butt out of bed around 3:30 every morning to hit the gym...get the kids off and get to work ( I am the Office Manager for an Optometric Clinic). I don't usually get home anytime before 6-7 pm and then there are all the daily things to take care of. Nope, not complaining, just explaining my reasoning for needing more energy

I have been lifting since about 5th grade (yeah...a long time) and have seen a lot of products come and go. I have tried a lot of products...and tried a lot of products for energy. I have my favs, but none that I have stuck w/ regularly due to some side effects I have gotten.

I have been taking 1 capsule everyday upon waking on an empty stomach. I am impressed b/c a lot of the stims cause me to get nauseous if I don't eat w/ them.

I started taking this on Monday and have to say that at first I really wasn't sure if I was feeling the effects of the phenadrine. It was only after my wo that I realized I had lifted heavier than I had in a long time and I was leaving the gym with energy. My lifts all week have been heavier than they have been in a while and I am feeling it...in a good way. Nothing like a few DOMS!! I made it to work and didn't feel like I needed to grab coffee all week..and I didn't! (*hmmm...thinking* Will this product save me money too if I am able to knock out my daily coffee stop?).

I haven't had any jitters, headaches nor have I had any of that "fogginess" or heart racing. My focus has been terrific! It is a nice, steady, smooth energy!!


I notice that by about 1:30-2 my energy starts to drop but I certainly do not crash. Getting an average of 10 hours from one capsule. Pretty good so far!

If there is anything I am leaving out, or any ? please don't hesitate to ask away.


The dosing on the bottle says to take 2 days off a week...which I haven't done yet. Actually, I need to so I can compare how I feel on days I take it, but I think I am addicted to this stuff...and it has only been 6 days So far I am impressed!!

An epimedium flavonoid and testosterone mimetic, icariin is a natural anabolic that possesses a variety of unique actions in the body. It plays an important role in modulating nitric oxide levels by inhibiting an important enzyme, phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE-5), that breaks down another enzyme, 3?,5?-cyclic Guanosine Monophosphate (cGMP). cGMP signals the smooth muscles to relax, enhancing blood flow. So, PDE-5 inhibition prolongs the action of cGMP, making possible the flooding of skeletal muscle tissue with nutrient-rich blood and oxygen, leading to improved muscle contraction, intense pump and vascularity, as well as promoting an environment conducive to anabolism. This inhibition drives movement and promotes stronger muscle contractions, and a dense skeletal muscle structure.

Caffeine
Caffeine, a methylxanthine and popular stimulant, not only possesses lipolytic and appetite suppressant properties, but also helps to enhance endurance and extent the effect of other stimulants. As a CNS stimulant, caffeine works as an adenosine A1 and A2A receptor antagonist. These pathways ensure caffeine traces a synergistic action with 1,3-Dimethylamylamine and other agents in Phenedrine, creating an optimally fuelled fat-burning furnace in your body.

1,3-Dimethylamylamine
Also known as Geranamine, 1,3-Dimethylamylamine is a derivative of geranium oil. As a potent fat burner, 1,3-Dimethylamylamine activates an enzyme, adenylate cyclase, that elevates cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) in cells, triggering fat metabolism. Furthermore, 1,3-Dimethylamylamine demonstrates potent central-nervous system (CNS) stimulation, leading to enhanced energy and physical performance, heightened focus and concentration. The user will experience a significant elevation in energy levels without the usual crash. 1,3-Dimethylamylamine is often combined with caffeine to further consolidate the heightened energy, intense concentration and focus.

N-Methyl-Beta-Methylphenylethylamine HCL

Glad the effects are on the road already

I never cycled off of Phenadrine, never felt the need to as the effects didn't diminish over time. 10 hours of energy off one pill! Definitely can replace the daily cup of coffee.

If I don't get it done that early, it just is not going to happen. ..and I am not about to give up on the gym

I do have one cup of coffee in the morning, but am usually needing more by the time work rolls around. Not this past week though!!

Glad I don't have to cycle off, but I am certainly curious to see how I feel on a day when I don't take it (*bites nails from nervousness * )

Good morning all Slept in a little bit today since I am on "vacation" for the next couple of days. Still up at 5, going to hit the gym in a few and then head down to Sea World for the day with the boys.

Didn't take the phenadrine yesterday. I did notice a big difference in my energy. I didn't work out, but stayed home and tried to accomplish some things around the house. My usual "zip" since being on it wasn't quite there.

I am going to try it on a gym day as well. Just not today though

Took one cap of Phenadrine about 20 min before hitting the gym. Nice steady energy


Noticing an Increase in sweatiness (blech). The gym seems to be warmer though. Not sure if it is due to the hotter weather or the phenadrine. Be curious to see if the effects are the same when the weather cools down.

You'll be amazed on a cold day that you'll still be sweating like crazy, likely just as much as on a hot day (assuming your gym is air conditioned or temperate controlled pretty tightly. I know i my experience the gym is set to low 70's all yr round.

I was amazed too,1st time I took Phenadrine it was pretty brisk outside let alone in the gym.I sweat pretty good for sure,also is dose dependant as well.

Looks like a great log so far, and a great product as well. I could definitly use some!
I may be joining you at 3:30 every day starting in a couple weeks. It's hard to wake up at 2am one or two days a week and then expect to train at 6pm the others.
I find the whole, "If I dont do it then, it wont get done" theory is in effect.
