On a day like chest/tris, should I do all of my primary chest exercises before moving onto tris, should I switch back and forth, or should I just do the heaviest/biggest lifts first?

A general rule is to do all the work for the larger muscle group first, then move on to the smaller muscle. The exception to this would be if you were prioritizing the smaller muscle, to correct an imbalance. No brain, no gain.
You can't out-train bad nutrition.
"The fitness and nutrition world is a breeding ground for obsessive-compulsive behavior. The irony is that many of the things people worry about have no impact on results either way, and therefore aren't worth an ounce of concern."--Alan Aragon
