just friends

so it starts out with me kickin it with this girl that i met in one of my classes. we have been hanging out alot and have been gettin real close.alot of flirting and touching.on a total different level then me just wanting to f her.

i meet her at the bar and its her and some dude that likes her, but i know he isnt going to get her, they just dont match and she knows it. but im drinking it up and feeling good. we all leave in seperate cars but she has a long drive home so i decided i would call and keep her company. when i call her she is driving by another bar and said we should go.

i meet her up there, it is just us and have a great conversation with her, like always. it got real deep telling about past stuff and life. we start talking about past relationships and how they affect people later in life.

she then said "i have alot of guy friends but no one likes me like that, they just see me as a friend " me being in the drunkin state says "i like you." its all downhill from there. then starts the whole i thought we were just friends talk.

was really let down and it sucks going down this road again.

*** then went out to a club and hollered at every girl i could cause, i was drunk and let down. got two numbers and hanging out with one tomorrow.but its not the same though.

she is a cool girl but i know i will continue to want her but also dont want to lose her. where do i go now?

should i be a friend or drop it?

cliff notes.
-drinking with girl im diggin alot and some dude.
-left and drank alone with her
-deep convo
-she says " guys dont like her"
- i say " i do"
-just friends talk
-big mistake and suck at life.
*drank more. got 2 numbers at the club

i dont think she would have such a "deep" convo with someone she likes..

she thinks of u as a frd so thats why she doesnt mind talking to u about past relationships.

i think u should have made it obvious that you like her more than a frd in the beginning

i wasnt feeling her in the beginning. we just kicked it but she grew on me. she was pretty but i was just hanging out with her.

I'm guessing you're no Brock Lesnar so you might want to chill out on the whole 295lbs thing. You're on a bodybuilding forum, go read the nutrition section for a while. Drop the rolls and get a serratus anterior, and you'll be amazed at how fast those girls who were just friends suddenly want your dick.

Rockin' gut with a side of extra skin. I can't imagine why she wasn't running her fingers through your folds immediately, normally all the girls go wet when their 24 year old friend says "I like you."

I absolutely cringed when I read the line above. A few observations...

She lied to you. She knows they want to bone her. Now that doesn't mean she wants to get with them... but she isn't stupid... she can look around and see that none of the fat/ugly girls she knows have "lots of guy friends". She threw in a preemptive "but no one likes me like that... they just see me as a friend" to hopefully difuse any problem you have with her having lots of guys hanging around. (She apparently equates "I haven't hooked up with any of them" with "None of them have feelings for me/want to bone me"... and those two statements are NOT the same thing).

I am 37... there has never been a time where I have dated a girl with "lots of guy friends" where things didn't end badly because of it (one cheated on me with a "guy friend", another had a "guy friend" who she swore she could never look at romantically... while hiding from me at the same time the fact she had actually dated him in the not so recent past, etc... I could go on and on. Suffice it to say they all ended badly because of the "guy friends" (and none because I went around acting insecure/posessive)

A guys desire to be a girls "friend" is almost directly correlated to how atractive she is. Just go take 5 minutes and surf myspace and see for yourself. The really hot chicks with have a "friends list" of guys thay usually is the size of a city phone book.

You said you were able to pull 2 phone numbers since then so you obviously have some game with women. Trust me... she isn't worth the trouble... just pursue other chicks.

good advice. no i have no problem picking up girls this one just seemes really special but it happends. gotta keep truckin
