Cost of installing stereo in car? (serious)
hey brahs my cd player is broken in my 95' blazer and I was going to get a new one installed at best buy. I'm thinking of getting the cheapest one with an ipod hookup, which is like $80. They also say installing it is 50 plus I need a new deck that is $20 plus I need this other part for the ipod which is $20, so the total cost of everything will be about $170.
Question is, do you brahs know if I can get a better deal somewhere else? Is this a ripoff or is it as good as I'm going to find?
Will rep good answers. in before tree fiddy.

They call it best buy for a reason.
But when you find a better deal, take it to best buy and I'm sure they'll do it for cheaper

go to crutchfield.com and they usually have free instalation tools so you can do it yourself. good customer service too if you need it
DIY man. cruthfield sends you a booklet on how to do it based on your car. it's really all you need.

that is too much.
my pioneer in dash monitor with ipod hookup and a brake switch to toggle video was $120. not to mention you have no video and you're paying $170?!?!?!
go to your local mom and pop type car places to check prices

I probably will have to have someone install it for me because I've tried to put in my old one and I really have no clue how to do it. I'll ask some people if they can help also.

You gonna let another dude work on your car? wtf?
Might as well let him finger your GF's pussy while you're at it.

my door broke on my car, (plastic piece broke from the exterior handle latch, i spend 5 hours fixing it with a zip tie a(it was a bitch to get to the problem area) burned hand on light bulb, saved 2k from being raped at bmw, and learned how **** worked inside and how easy it really is to work on cars once you understand it. theres alot of DIY out there.

wait, your getting a CD player and a new deck? a deck is a CD player, amirite? unless their selling you like a dual slot cover or something. I wouldn't get it installed, paying 50 for something as simple as changing out a cd player is a rip off, you could get some new speakers for 50.

I'm going to buy the cd player and install it myself. By the deck I meant the area where the cd player will be put in, but there is extra space around it that needs to be covered up for it to not look like garbage. I'll figure it out. Thanks for the advice brahs, will rep on recharge.
