Thumbs down How to take creatine capsules

Hey, I was looking for some help.

I've come off creatine powder and am now moving on to creatine capsules. They are 700mg and I'm a lil confused about taking them. Someone told me to take 10 capsules 3x daily! Surely thats not right.

Any replies will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    J.

I can't seem to find much as far as directions on it go, but I do think it's a mono. I would recommend 3-4 caps when you woke up and 3-4 more caps with your post workout shake.

    Thanks,

If it is strictly 700mg creatine, without any other ingredients, it is pretty simple.

Figure out how many grams of creatine you want to take per day. I'm guessing 3-5g for most people.

Now, take that amount and multiply by 1000 to figure out how many miligrams you need per day. Now we are looking at 3000-5000mg.

Finally, we take the amount of miligrams we want per day, and divide that number by miligrams per capsule, which in this case is 700mg.

Using this math, I'd say you should be taking between 4-7 capsules per day.
