Take some time off of all exercise...

Funny story... I have torretz (not the crazy kind) and so I always have a certain habit that I repeat every few seconds. And that habit lasts for a few months, then a new one starts. So now, it's this thing where my shoulder jerks up and down almost like its vibrating. But using the same ROM as a shrug... It just happens really quick and it losses the **** outta me... But my dads all uptight about this and he's insisting that it's muscle spasm. I did some research on that, and it's not muscle spasm. But he still insists that it is and wants me to quit lifting forever cuz he thinks that it will become permanent ... It's not tho cuz I've had literally like 30 of these habits that I do and they all go away... But a new one starts... Sry to go off topic ther heh...

i just started doing deadlifts again, and the first day i did them, i wanted to see how strong i was. i was doing 225 like cake so i amped it up to 315. i did that twice and then lowered the weight and did a couple more sets. three days later i wake up, hungover as **** and i have a strong pain in my back and i can't move.

If you aren't already... eat a banana every day. The potassium will help. Drink more water. Most people think they are getting enough and they aren't even close. Avoid anticholinergics such as DPH (diphenhydramine), dramamine, etc. Avoid NSAIDs like ibuprofin. If you are doing all of that and getting muscle spasms. See a doctor.

I agree with the water part. When you feel thirsty, it's because you are already dehydrated and your body is telling you that it REALLY needs water. You should drink water regularly even when you aren't thirsty to stay hydrated.
