    Is 3 protein shakes a day too much?

    Im tryna cut about 12 more lbs. Im tryna find a diet that works for me still. I get extremely hungry around 10-11pm. Anyways i dont feel like cooking a lot, and shakes are just easy. Would it be alright if i had 3 a day? I was thinking one in the morning, one post workout, and maybe one before bed. Usually my post workout one contains 2 scoops whey.

    Also what would you recommend as far as how many scoops and which i should take with water or milk (2% milk). The rest of my diet will be tuna/wholewheat bread/chicken/PB/almonds/eggs etc.thanks brahs.

    People have done the Velocity Diet and take nothing but 5 a day and they're fine. 3 shakes is NOTHING.

    yeah 3 shakes every day isn't so good man, real food is a better source of protein when available... better for the body.

    Try eating cottage cheese at night. It's casein which digests much slower than whey so it's the perfect late night snack to fuel you all night.

    3 is fine man you'll be alright. Ive taken more then that and still be fine. Just dont sub ALL your food for protein shakes.

    im fine man ive been drinking shakes as a meal because im busy throughtout the day so instead of missing a meal and skipping it i just make a couple shakes and bring them with me. for example today i had breakfast, eggs toast and oats, then ran some errands then had a shake before gym, then had one post workout then came home and had roastbeef potatoes and turnip then had another shakes couple hours later then now i just had a steak caesar salad. im like subconsciencly cutting, im just so busy that i will miss meals so i have shakes to make up for it, lost about 6 lbs and im on creatine too so my strength infact went up so its all good

    Look at it this way man. Its called a SUPPLEMENT for a reason. it's there to supplement your diet for stuff you dont get normally during the day. It shouldnt be the foundation of your diet.

    You need to be getting those calories from chicken, fish, other meats, nuts, etc.

    there's lots of ways to cook chicken man, it really shouldn't get old. You're Italian... I shouldn't have to tell you this =)

    Try breading it w/ olive oil and some good italian bread crumbs. Shake that **** up in a ziplock bag so the crumbs stick. Then bake it for like 45-50 mins in the oven on 400 and you're good to go. Eat it w/ pasta sauce.

    Or cook it in some butter w/ mushrooms or something, that **** tastes great. Other than that, buy 93% lean ground beef and make burgers n meetballs. Get peanut butter, cottage cheese, etc.
