It goes without saying that I have a particular fondness and the utmost respect for Xtreme Formulations, their owner Dave Rosland, and their first rep - Jordan (TheUnlikelyToad.) Along with the Scivation Crew and all my colleagues at Designer, Dave is one of the first people I met in the industry and to this day he is still one of the most genuine (and f&$king hysterical) people I've ever met. He deserves your support, all of his products and standards are great. Without further ado -

Mixability: 9.5 out of 10
1 scoop added to the shaker along with 20oz of cold water and shaken for about 20 seconds. Flawless mixture, minimal foaming, no chunks. Perfect.
Taste: 9.8 out of 10
I refuse to give any 'flavor' a 10/10 because nothing is perfect - but this is pretty close. While I admit I'm not a huge citrus lover, one of my favorite fruits is the Meyer lemon (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meyer_Lemon) and I've had it in forms ranging from cupcakes and souffles to a broth for lobster and a foil to foie gras. Sweet yet sour, potent but not 'sharp,' and with a degree of creaminess that hints almost at meringue - a whey that harkens to the flavors of a Meyer Lemon or Buddha's Hand more-so than a simple lemon.
In my typical fashion I don?t drink tons of shakes, thus while good in water, this stuff is even more amazing as a "protein addition" or "topping" to whole foods. My two favorite uses so far have been with yogurt and blueberries to make a creamy pudding and with salt and fennel seeds that I used to accent some couscous and chicken.

Ultra Peptide Whey Ingredients
Protein Blend (Whey Protein Isolate, Whey Protein Concentrate, Hydrolyzed Whey Protein (Peptides)), Natural And Artificial Flavors, Sodium Chloride, Acesulfame Potassium, Sucralose, And Soy Lecithin.
Can't really beat that - all of what you need, no bull**** enzymatic complexes or pseudo-beneficial overhyped protein subtypes. Would be a little lower fat if it were an isolate, but you get what you pay for.
Cost: 10 out of 10
If you shop right, this stuff comes out to be ~ 54 cents a serving - cheaper than the price of 3oz (cooked weight) chicken breast and similar in nutritional content. Perhaps the chicken is more filling (that is debatable, IMO) but the whey is a whole lot more portable - something that matters a lot to myself.
Thoughts: Superb - a great product from a great company and a great addition to my supplemental food rotation. As someone who practices an extremely clean diet with very little variation from day to day aside to when I?m on vacation, it is nice to have choices and this might just be the best non-vanilla/chocolate protein I've tasted since Scivation took the oldschool Substance Grape off the market and Ergopharm stopped making Blueberry Madness GF-Pro. Another winner from Xtreme Formulations - not that there was ever any doubt.
