    Ramped up weight too quickly?

    My buddy went from skullcrushing 80 - 140 and doing 80 lb pulldowns to 120 lb pulldowns, for example. Now he feels immense pain in the elbows after working out. This happened in the time span of 1.5 months, the elbow pain and increase in strength that is. What to do?

    He should go to a doctor. But, I don't think that is too crazy of an increase in weight in that amount of time.

    This is exactly what I did to injure my elbows. Upped the weights too early and wasn't ready for it, ended up with tendinitis. U godda gradually build up carefully one step at a time
