    NOT let arms grow ANYMORE!

    hey guys,

    i've been working out for about two years and in terms of biceps am completely satisfied.

    Because of my height (5'5") my arms were able to fill out quickly, and you can imagine that with too much attention on bicep workouts my arm could easily grow disproportional to my height.

    So MY QUESTION IS:

    currently i db curl 40lb for 8-9 reps and 45 for abt 3 reps (each arm)

    what weights/exercises should i do to KEEP my biceps the same size? lower weights (20's?), same weight?



    any help will be GREATLY appreciated , thanks in advance!

    If you don't your arms to grow bigger then don't do as many excercises for them. Just keep them in shape. A lot of arm size will actually come from tris before bis.

    I would keep a lower weight higher rep program. Maybe right after a baack workout for maybe 3-4 sets just to keep them in shape.
    235x6 falt bench
    185x6-8 incline
    295x1 decline.
    205x1 close grip bench press last time I checked.

    Squat now finally getting back into legs after the injury.

    245x8 squat.
    295x10 deadlift
    28 inch vertical as of middle of last yr. Will be rechecking soon.

    u cant tone a muscle, you can loose fat, or gain muscle, not tone with high reps.

    just do what you keep doing without adding more weight. Your body will get used to it and just maintain it. Cuz it wont be stressed with heavier weight so it wont need to build more muscle you know? Kinda like running if you run the same amount at the same pace everyday you wont get any faster

    alright dude i'm just asking for some advice here

    so what im getting from flposjg is that just stick with my 40s/45s and i should plateau and maintain?

    is there any truth to when people say you can make your muscle 'denser' in lieu of bigger?
