Got some good tips from a member in my gym. I am relatively new at squats and dead lifts. Had broken leg 2 years ago then I injured my back at work a little over a year ago and just got into deads and squats about 4 months ago or so.
Anyways a guy in my gym is supposedly one of the top powerlifters in the nation. I can believe it. I have watched him box squat for multiple reps over 600 lbs. He said his squat record is 780, deads are I think 660, and his bench is 500. Note he is only 181 lbs!!!! He showed me how to properly squat and deadlift and some tips on both. He said he has some videos on youtube but I can't remember his name fully. He is also supposedly friends with the record squat holder at 1220lbs. He said he watched it and also a 1100lb bench press.
Pretty intense, I was just trying to get a bunch of tips as possible from him.
