How many calories = a point (Weight Watchers)

Does anyone know how many calories are equal to one point in the Weight Watchers system.

I am not doing WW but am very familiar with counting points,so its easier for me.

I need to eat around 1900 calories a day to lose (BMR 1650).

    Really hope someone can help!!

On Average a WW point is about 50 calories...but it depends on your calories, fat and fiber combination.

    One point = (calories/50) + (fat grams/12) - (fiber grams/5) (cap the fiber at 4...dont' count any above 4)

    Thanks for your reply debbiehouser.

I'm a little confused about the fat/fibre...do I have to work these out?

    So does 1900 calories = 38 points?

    Thanks again

I'm thinking maybe it would be best if I learnt how to count calories,in the long run.At least I would know I was getting it right.
