I understand that it is hard to do both but I have been at it for about 4 weeks and do not see myself gaining any strength nor muscle. I feel like I am just getting skinnier and skinnier. Just I up my calories or is that about enought. I am taking in my body weight in protein. Any help is appreciated. thanks!!!

If you are going to attempt to loose fat and gain muscle at the same time you need to be eating very close to maintenance and you also need to expect for changes in your body to happen very slowly. You should be able to eat about 2,100 calories per day to maintain your current weight. I wouldn't drop your cals below 1,800 for the next couple of months, making sure you are able to progress in the amount of weight you are able to lift over that time.
Eat AT LEAST your bodyweight in grams of protein and AT LEAST 1/4 of your bodyweight in grams of fat. I'd suggest trying a 40/30/30 (p/c/f) breakdown for the time being (based on my own results with it). Maybe increasing your carbs to 40% and dropping your fat to 20% of your intake if you're more of a carb eater.
