Neck/trap strain

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey everyone. ok so i had a pec strain a few weeks ago and i think i am almost over it; however maybe about a week ago the strain started coming more from my trap(same side as pec injury). I have started to slowly lift again, went about 50-55% this week, shooting for 55-65% next week. I went for a massage this past week and that definitely helped to improve overall compared to 3 weeks ago

Any thoughts though on the trap? anything in particular I should be doing aside from stretching/ice? Should I not do trap work for a couple of weeks?

really appreciate any advice

it depends.. if the pain in your trap gets worse as your workout progresses. then youre not ready and you need to stop lifting to let it recover.

if the pain gets better throughout the workout or stays the same.. then you are ready to start recovering.
