Neck/trap strain
Hey everyone. ok so i had a pec strain a few weeks ago and i think i am almost over it; however maybe about a week ago the strain started coming more from my trap(same side as pec injury). I have started to slowly lift again, went about 50-55% this week, shooting for 55-65% next week
Any thoughts though on the trap? anything in particular I should be doing aside from stretching/ice?
really appreciate any advice

i hate trap strains, best advice i can give you from personal experience is that when you get trap strains or basically anything in general if it doesn't seem to go away and you keep working through it is back off because it has a tendency to get worst, trust me. Maybe let it recover, get a massage something that may be beneficial for it. - Jim

I went for a massage this past week and it definitely improved from where i was at 3 weeks ago. Is there anything in particular you can do for this kind of strain?
Should I just avoid exercises that recruit my traps?

Could be a chance of some slight nerve damage.. not sure most likely muscle strain, just give it time like 2 weeks completely off training then after that time start doing some light trap stretches and neck stretches just to get everything moving again, this should help also the application of some hot pack cant hurt.
