Hey All,
Long story short i want to play football, the end period. I know right now i'm probably not in the best shape and may not have the speed that i use to but i want to play and get back into shape. I've already started to train my strength and power on WS4SB but i'm looking for drills, skills and tips to improve my game.
I live in Australia, and over here there not much talk about "gridiron" hence the reasons i'm asking you guys. This will be my first season playing it and i want to be in the best shape as possible. I want to be strong fast powerful and skillful and i have no idea to go about it.
I'm looking for drills that i can do by myself that can help, like just throwing a ball agaist the wall and catching it to improve hand eye coordination etc. What drills you guys do to help your game??
So any 1 person drills will be great in regards to speed, agility, football skills etc.
Thanks in advance
Jase.

Well if you read earlier i said i am doing WS4SB for my strength training i was looking on the lines of working on speed etc.
I know it depends on what position etc. but what basic things can i do, such as regarding footwork, hands, etc.
I have google numerous times to find something that will help with anything but most of the things are practice drills which involves the team so like plays etc. I'm looking for drills and skills i can do to help me as an individua."No Gimmicks, Just Hard Work From Skinny Bastard To Built Like A Badass"

It's all good,
I know ladder drills and skipping etc. helps but what can i do for everything such as:
Speed training
Agility training
Catching training
Balance training
I what a program to follow to help me with regarding some on the things mention what can i do by my self which will give me an advantage. Besides strength training what can i do to become a better footballer. I've googled so many times for it and all i find are drills that involve the team, no drills to improve speed etc.
What do you all do??

Would it be alright for me to follw the bigger, faster, stronger program, the conditioning side of things. For example, could i follow their:
- Speed Program
- Conditioning Program
- Ploymoterics Program
- Flexibility Program
Could i do this, while i follow my WS4SB III template, i want to work on my conditioning side of things for football. I don't no if this would be overtraining, i though about doing it like this for example:
Monday:
6:30am
- Speed Program
4:30pm
- ME upper body
Tuesday:
6:30am
- Plyometrics Program (not sure if it's ment to be on the same as legs, but i thought i read some where it should be :S)
4:30pm
- ME lower body
Wednesday:
Rest
Thursday:
6:30am
- Conditioning Program
4:30pm
- Re upper body
Friday:
6:30am
- Flexibility Program
4:30pm
- Re lower body
I'm not sure if this is correct hence the reason why i am posting it, but does this look alright or what, i'm using the exercises from the BFS program for these, is this correct or not, please help somone one.
Thanks in advance.
