Cut question please help.

Alright i got up to 160 and am around 13-14%bf now..and want to start my cut till im at 8% again...now my question for yall is which method of dieting is best for retaining mucsle mass and losing the fat...Keto? Low carb? mod carb and high carb on weekends? Was just looking to see what yalls thoguhts and experiences were with dieting and cutting down. Please let me know yalls experiences.

I followed this and maintained muscle http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/layne36.htm i personally don't think Keto diets are the best to spare muscle but there is people that do them and seem to not loose much Muscle mass.
