Nice Gym! What is the paint brand and color or code of the blue stripe? That is one of the colors that I have been thinking about painting the walls and floor of my gym but I'm having a hard time tracking it down because there are no paint stores in my area. Thanks!

Vinyl sticker was a good idea. I might add some vinyl graphics down the road. I'm just about done the painting stage. I was trying to get Disney color Infinity And Beyond DC3C-20-4 but couldn't get it mixed so I went with Twilight Blue 2067-30 which is very close. Latex matte finish on the walls and oil based gloss on the floor. One more coat on the floor, followed by white baseboards and then I can start moving in my equipment which is all black frame black upholstery! It'll be the black n' blue room. lol BTW full spectrum lighting made a huge difference because it was looking too dark before the lighting change.

Definitely BLUE! haha.
I have two 8 foot fluorescent lights on the ceiling, which makes for good lighting. If I didn't have those, it'd just be two light bulbs up towards the squat rack end of the gym.....not good.
A stripe would really be nice on your wall. Probably a light blue would be nice. Going too dark with everything won't make it as inviting. It all depends on who is using it I guess.trainingwithryan.substack.com

Wow, just catching up on this thread, it is amazing how much you have influenced everyone with a home gym. I can not wait until I get my new place next year hahaha..trying really hard to find a place with an extra room for exercise Do you find much benefit with the TRX? Ive used it and found it to be quite challenging, what are the main exercises you do on them?

Since this thread inspired many, I'd like to keep on inspiring with an update of epic proportions, lol.
I've since abandoned my first gym and left the new owner of that home with two tone garage walls
Here is the new setup! I'll stay up to date on any questions that anyone might have about my new gym.
Thanks for viewing!trainingwithryan.substack.com
