My husband (36) just had a Heart Attack!
My husband WAS taking M-drol & Epistane stack. He was on for 2 weeks and off for one and he had two heart attacks on monday and tuesday. The Dr said it was from the supplements. They found something in his urine and we're waiting for results on what it is.
Has anyone heard of problems with these? We have friends on these and they have no problems, just wondering if anyone else has heard of problems?
Thanks

Not sure if this is a serious thread, or an attempt at a joke...
but none the less, both 'supplements' are steroids. However, I would doubt an underlying issue wasn't present before he used said products.

Honestly, that is a very potent stack of "steroids". More than likely he was either abusing these products, or had an underlying issue that caused his heart attack.
Either way, I am sorry to hear about your husband, and wish him a full recovery.

Stacking 2 methylated compounds couldn't have helped. Methylated steroids are known to increase blood pressure

Esp. at the age of 36...plus we dont know the other factors of it...ie...was he a smoker? was he a drinker? did he have high cholesterol? all these plus the very potent stack of steroids could have contributed to his heart attack

Shame on anyone who would JOKE about this. I am very serious. He had no underlying problems that we know of. He had a hernia surgery early this year and they found no abnormalities in his blood work then. He wasn't abusing, he followed the instructions on the bottles. He wasn't taking any other supplements at during those two weeks. He is not a smoker or drinker, no cholesterol problems. He did have high blood pressure when he went in.
Also all his other tests came back good, he has no blockages and no damage. The Dr said if he stays off the products he'll be fine.
I just wanted to find out if anyone else has heard of problems from these.

He started 3 weeks ago. He took them for 2 weeks and then we went on vacation for a week and he left them at home. We came back and that night he had the first one.
He was taking 2 capsules of M-drol and one of Epistane each day. Thats the instructions. He would take NO Explode before his workout. Thats it.
We still have most of the bottle so he wasn't taking more than that.

Yikes, that's very unfortunate. BUT, like we have said, these 'supplements' are full blown steroids. Not like steroids, or similar to steroids, but steroids. The high blood pressure is without a doubt the result of the two products, and could even be a culprit.
Using both products at the same time is/was a poor idea. Many people do so anyways, and come out unscathed, but there are absolute dangers in doing so. Hell, using only 1 of those products entails risk.

Despite popular opinion many of the recommended support supplement do not do much to modulate blood pressure. Some great ones exist, I've just never seen them discussed.

He stacked 2 methlyated steroids on top of a pre-workout supplement loaded with caffeine while taking nothing to control blood pressure. That's why he had a heart attack.....he didn't do enough research
EDIT: Ok, I realize this was a harsh statement.

Using two steroids that will undoubtedly raise BP, and then adding in caffeine (in NOXplode) has serious POTENTIAL to cause damage. However, nobody online can pinpoint what happened.

OP, sorry to hear about your husband, do you know of his experiences with hormonal products?
As the other posters have already noted, Superdrol is a very toxic compound. I'm sure he'll be fine as the doctors have said, however, it'll be interesting to know exactly what was the cause.

I realize that not everyone is educated on these products and this probably happens in real life a lot, but a few things:
1) I wish him the best and hope he is able to have a great recovery from the heart attacks;
2) Assuming he does recover, I urge you to emphasize the importance of the things that he chooses to put in his body. Not a good use of the products at all.
Again, I am not hating/flaming/etc. but to take them for 2 weeks and then just stop taking them during a week of vacation is ill-advised.

20mg of Superdrol is a pretty decent amount, but 10mg of Epistane is low.
Either way it is a potent stack.
This, coupled with NO support supplements, and NO Explode pre workout probably had his blood pressure sky high. He obviously had not taken the NO Explode the night of the heart attack, but I am sure his blood pressure was still high from the cycle.....and his lipid values were probably out of wack.
Did they do blood work to check his cholesterol, liver, etc?

I ran 2 Havoc (same active as epistane) cycles in 2008, and monitored my BP religiously throughout both of them. The support supps didn't change a thing. Then again, I only suffered an extremely mild increase in BP... perhaps they may help out during extremes?
I dunno. Either way, I agree that these so called support supps are very over rated.

Definitely couldn't of helped, but the likeliness of the use of said products being the culprit is completely unknown.
My suggestion to the original poster would be to give the most comprehensive, accurate info you have to the doctors. Believe it or not, this data could actually be very useful.
