I figured that I would chronicle my bass fishing this year. Since my son is old enuff to get started, it might be fun.

This a Quantum Iron Baitcast Reel. A Spiderwire Baitcast Reel(my pride and joy) A Shimano Bantam Coriolis Baitcast Reel, a Spiderwire Spincast, a newer Zebco Red Rhino spincast, and an older Red Rhino.

I will post pics of where I predominately fish, and of the rest of my lures in the next day or so. I fish on a small highly pressured pond. Full of Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, there used to be Crappie, and I think a few catfish.

I have the same tackle box. I was at Sports Authority years ago and my dad gave me 20 bucks to go find a tackle box. So of course, I found the one that was $19.99 and sure enough you've got the same one. I'll get pics in a couple weeks since I'm not at home right now.

Thanks!! I got my tackle box as a gift when I was around 17. It has lasted a good lot of time.

Man, you got lots of nice stuff. I only got two shelves and don't even own my own reel, lol. When I was about 10, I dropped it in a lake and been using the spare reels since.

HAHA, that reminds me of what happened to my only spinning reel. I cast out and the entire top half flew into the water to never be seen again. You can get a good quality outfit for a good price at bassproshops.com

I was 10 at the time, and I caught a 42'' Northern Pike with it. Next day I lost it and cried.

Thanks for the info, I'll look some stuff up. Seems like a great summer hobby.

You got that right, you gotta go slow, and downsize(maybe) I just gotta find where they are holding. If my softplastics dont work, I have some shad in a bag I am gonna throw out there.

I spent about a half hour out there, teh wind was howling, about 20 mph. I went to a spot on the pond that for some reason was pretty calm, I had an average size bass( 2 pounder maybe ) flash at my Berkley Frenzy Rattletrap. When I go out later, I am gonna toss out a Mann's 1- crankbait. The bass love em in the pond I fish. IF teh fish are energetic enuff to flash a rattletrap, I should have no problem with the 1-.
