I don't think people are understanding, that you can drop 20 grand on any tuner car and beat a lambo in a straight line. Hell, you could probably get away with only putting 10 grand into a 5.0 and destroy a lambo in the quarter mile. Racing in a straight line is the only aspect the supra beats the lambo in. The lambo would destroy the supra on the racetrack (the only real racing imo), it's still stock so it's 100X more reliable than a highly modified car, the interior is fukkin sick, etc etc

You could still build a supra to handle really well and it'd only be a couple seconds behind the lambo. Could build up the drivetrain, chassis, and suspension probably under 120K. Also who cares about interior, this thread is about the best performing car, not the one that looks the nicest.

My buddy has a supra car pwns and i jizz everytime i ride in it. Big turbos suck tho because of lag and dont spoll until higher rpms and will more than likely get blown off the line, hence the 40mph roll race.

try 80 rolls, supras with any kind of power are spinning to 100 unless they are auto's

Actually.. I can't be bothered to find the video but there is a video of a supra racing a lambo on the track and the supra keeps up with it easily. The supra isn't even really highly modified either.
Lambo gives up in the end and lets the supra go past.

The 5.0 in the Fox body is sick, you can do so many modifications and not break the wallet. A performance place down here in Orlando has a TT, Nitrous Fox body..needless to say it is ridiculous and rapes supra's left and right.

Strong lack of car knowledge in this thread, lulz. Sure a lambo is baller, but there's nothing better than building your own car that can smoke the **** out of something that cost 300k.
Also, LOL at the idiots arguing the lambo would handle way better than any tuner car on the track. Lots of people spend just as much on engine upgrades as they do on suspension and brakes. You can make a race car out of anything with the right parts.

THIS. If I had 400k, I could buy a lambo like everyone else with 400k, or I could build my own car for less than half that. Building a car would be so much fun, and if you messed something up, you could afford to buy more parts. You'd have the satisfaction of knowing that you built something yourself and theres nothing else on the road exactly like it. Also, you would know how to fix stuff when it breaks and not have to take it to the dealer and spend 30,000.
