I haven't lifted in 3 months :(
not on purpose; once school ended I had no access to gym. Can't afford + gym is 45 minute drive away.
THAT is all I need for motivation.......I'm itching so bad to start lifting again. I miss Deadlifting so bad. I was up to 305
After basic training ends I cannot wait to hit iron. I will get access to weights around October at tech school in Keesler Air Force Base.
So damn sick of pushups, situps, chinups, and cardio.
edit: point of thread; if you lose motivation, try to stop weight lifting completely for like a week....you will want to lift so bad.

Structural Maintenance.
I think what I'm gonna do is Bill Starr's 5x5 during the duration of tech school (which is like 9-10 weeks for me), take out squats and put box squats, and add some bicep curls on Monday, Tricep Extensions on Wednesday, and ab work on Friday.
For a long time; once I plateau I will switch to split and keep bulking and bulking. Keep my carbs low and the diet clean and I won't put on much fat at all.

Thats cool man lol at the 9 to 10 week tech school. I was in tech school for like 8 months.
Just curious why the changes to the bill star's program? I personally would not swap regular squats for box squats, maybe on day 2 of the week where the squats are lightter you could do the box squats or maybe front sqyuats if you want to change it up, but leave the regular squats in untill you stall a couple times. and abs are worked 3x per week on the program i wouldn't just do them once. Just IMO do the program as written and only after a few times threw it change it up. I would not cut carbs while in tech school you are still going to be doing pt like 3x per week thats just running a couple miles and some pushups and situps. So keeping your carbs and cals up you will be sure to have enough energy for pt and lifting and still put on some mass. gl man Let me know if you need any help with anything.

Thanks.I'm gonna try to keep my fat down as much as possible during my bulk. I want to clean bulk real slow.
I'll do the program as it says then.
