    Wink Summer Recomp Cycle: Furazadrol + H-Drol

    Getting ready to do another Cycle, this will be my fifth since 2002-2003. My post-ban cycles have been H-Drol + Bold, Havoc + 11-OXO and H-Drol solo. I've responded well to H-Drol in the past, so figured I'll give it yet another run, plus it's a great compound for lean dry gains.

    This time around I'll be stacking it with relatively high dosed Furazadrol, I've always wanted to give this compound a run due to it's solid stacking abilities and dry gains and it seemed like the perfect fit for a summer cycle.

    My overall objective with this cycle is to lean out a little perhaps drop 1-2% body fat and throw on some additional lean body mass. I took nearly a year off from lifting during 2008 and lost quite a bit of size due to a change in life style (new job blah blah), I spent the last 1-2 months cutting down a bit to get leaner and had good results. Due to the break my weight is down, strength is down so I'm hoping to get back into high gear again.

    Current Stats:
    Height: 6'5
    Age: 27
    Weight: 225 (way down)
    Bodyfat: 13-14%
    Arms: 17.35 inch (right), 17.15 (left)
    Bench: 200x6 (way down as well)

    I won't be logging this on a daily basis, simply because I've tried doing that before and I just can't commit to it, I slack off and fail to deliver. Instead I'll simply be providing a weekly or twice-weekly update with weight + body fat + bench strength figures. At the end of cycle I'll do a review as well as a final review at the end of PCT.

    The Cycle:

    I'm already into week number two of pre-loading Life Support, at 4 capsules per day (2x2). I will be running life support throughout the entire cycle.

    I'm using the following on Cycle: Fish Oil, Purple Wrath, Multi Vitamin, Protein (Pro Complex + Myofusion), I also always increase my potassium intake on Cycle simply by increased Banana consumption. I have taurine on hand as well as grape & celery seed extracts, if needed. I will introduce Liv.52 on week prior to using H-Drol as it's methylated and I like good liver coverage.

    Week 1: Furazadrol @ 250 MG
    Week 2: Furazadrol @ 300 MG (Adding Liv.52 at this point)
    Week 3: Furazadrol @ 300 MG + H-Drol @ 75mg
    Week 4: Furazadrol @ 300 MG + H-Drol @ 75mg
    Week 5: Furazadrol @ 300 MG + H-Drol @ 75mg
    Week 6: Furazadrol @ 300 MG + H-Drol @ 100mg

    I will have enough Furazadrol on hand to run it at 400 mg if needed for a couple of weeks and enough H-Drol to run 100 mg the final two weeks, my dosing may change depend on how I feel but I will be starting at the figures above.

    Post Cycle Therapy:

    Week 1: Nolva @ 20 mg + AI Post Cycle Support (Test Boost)
    Week 2: Nolva @ 20 mg + AI Post Cycle Support (Test Boost)
    Week 3: Nolva @ 10 mg + AI Post Cycle Support (Test Boost)
    Week 4: Nolva @ 10 mg + AI Post Cycle Support (Test Boost)

    Also during PCT, I will be using the following support supplements: Lean Xtreme (Cortisol Control), Purple Wrath, Fish Oil, Multivitamin, Life Support, Green Bulge (Creatine), Beta-Alanine. I have enough Nolva on hand to bump the dosage to 40/30/20/10 if needed.

    My Routine:

    I've been altering my routine often for the past 10 years, this routine seems to work best for me. For the most part, I try to stick with more basic movements that have been proven effective over time, I employ a unique mix of repetition ranges, I will mix in 5x5's on certain excercises (Squats, Barbell Curls in particular), some excercises I'll use 2 sets, others 3, in some cases 6-8 reps and in others 8-12 reps, it just varies depending on how well my body has responded in the past. I make adjustments to my routine almost bi-weekly I'll alter some part of it for a couple weeks then return to the original routine to keep my muscles guessing/growing, I also know my limits, in some instances I'll cut a workout short if I feel I've worked my muscles well enough, I try to limit any over working. Sleep is incredibly important as well, I get at least 8-9 hours per night. On final sets I will incorporate X-reps or partials occasionaly.

    Monday:
    Triceps (Straight Bar Pushdown, Decline Close Grip Bench, Decline Skull Crushers, Dips)
    Calves (Calve Raises, Calve Presses on Leg Press machine).

    Tuesday:
    Biceps: (Barbell Curls, One Arm Preacher Curls, Decline Curls, Hammer Curls)
    Shoudlers (Dumbell Press, Lat Side Raises, Upright Rows, Cuban Press mixed with Arnold Press in one super set)

    Wednesday:
    OFF

    Thursday:
    Chest (Bench Press, Incline Dumbell Press, Dumbell Flys, Cable Crossovers or Chest Dips)
    Back (Lat Pull Downs, Rows, Back pull machine thinger with multiple grips)

    Friday:
    Legs (Squats, Leg Press)
    Arms Superset (Typically a super set of the following: Straight Bar Cable Curls, Reverse Grip Tricep Pushdowns)
    Forearms (Reverse Curls with EZ-Curl)

    Saturday:
    Morning HIIT cardio (I perform fasted with only having a protein shake 45 minutes prior)

    Sunday:

    Partial full body workout on Total Body Works cable pulley system, great for definition. Muscles worked: Abs, Back, Chest, Traps, Shoulders.

    Diet:

    I run a pretty clean diet during recomp efforts, my staples are egg whites, chicken, brown rice, green veggies and whole grains. I aim for high protein, moderate carbs and healthy fats, I consume on average 250G of protein per day with almost 80G of that coming from protein shakes, I also consume roughly 2 gallons of liquid per day (water + shakes), below is an example day out of my life.

    Morning 9:30 AM:

    1x Scoop Myofusion
    Egg White Omlette or Scrambled Eggs (I usually use 5-7 Egg Whites + 1 whole egg).
    2 packets of oatmeal (instant, however organic + high quality profile)

    Lunch 12:30 AM:

    1x Chicken Breast (typically with some basic dry seasoning i.e cajun powder etc)
    3/4 Cup of brown rice.
    Green vegetable (some brocoli usually)

    Snack 3 Pm:

    Handful of unsalted peanuts
    Low-fat yogurt

    Pre-workout 5 Pm:

    One scoop PRO-Complex + Piece of fruit usually an Apple

    Dinner/Post-workout 7 PM:

    2x Chicken Breats
    Green vegetable
    1/2 cup brown rice

    Before Bed 10 PM:

    1x Scoop Myofusion
    Handful of peanuts.

    If anyone has any questions about anything, feel free to ask, I'll monitor and ask any type of question. As mentioned I'm two weeks into loading Life Support, I will be starting the Furazadrol Saturday July 11th (I prefer starting compounds on non-lifting days). I see some people running this cycle with H-Drol in the first four weeks, I'm doing at the back as I prefer to begin PCT immediately after introducing the harsher compound of the two (both are mild but H-Drol should certainly be stronger)....

    As mentioned, I will simply be posting basic log updates including weight gain/loss, overall feeling, end results, bench strength numbers, body fat etc.

    Seems to be WAYYY heavy on the Furazadrol. From what I've read on this (and other) forums, the old capsules were under-dosed and the new (blue and white) ones have been causing some strange sides even at or below the recommended dosage. I'm interested to see how they work for you, as I never took more than 200mg/day, and after about a week, I had to quit taking the stuff because it just made me feel terrible. At any rate, I wish you luck, and I'll be tuning in to see how your cycle goes.

    In light of some sides on the new blue/white pills folks are experiencing, I decided to swap Furazadrol for 11-OXO. I had some on hand, I'll be using 600 mg in place of the furazadrol.

    Four days in so far, nothing yet to report (see below), I tapered up the 11-OXO dosage, just also to note I'm using BCL Straight 11 test which is dosed @ 100 mg per cap.

    Sat - 300
    Sun - 400
    Mon - 500
    Tues - 600

    Today's workout (arms + shoulders) recovery time's in between sets seemed *slightly* improved, could just be placebo effect.

    Now into the first full week of the 11-OXO. Strength is up a little, recovery slightly improved, both very minor so far, don't expect much until the later weeks but early results are always nice.

    So far no other issues to report, expect things to get more interesting next week.

    Adding an update with some more information. I'm about to hit the two week point this Saturday, this is my second time using 11-OXO, however this time around, I'm loving it and surprised at how fast things have begun to show. The last time I used 11-OXO was at around 300 mg, had good results some leaning out (especially in the chest/stomach).

    It's been about 11 days since I started the 11-OXO and so far.

    Libido is up a bit (noticeable)
    Leaned out surprisingly quick already especially in the Chest/Stomach very noticeable results.
    Strength is up slightly, perhaps 5% increase on most lifts, while somewhat minor, impressive this early on.
    Recovery time is also improved, my rest times have decreased and workouts are more efficient.
    Vascularity is definitely improved and noticeable, especially through my arms.
    Muscle hardness especially in the arms is definitely improved.
    Appetite is elevated as well, which would be nice if I was bulking

    I've experienced the following sides.

    Minor BP elevation (My rested/normal state is 90/70, I've seen fluctuations as high as 110/98). Nothing drastic at all but some minor elevation there (normal)
    Increased difficulty getting out of bed (sleep is definitely improved), this isn't a side since sleep rocks, but sucks for work and what not.

    Another thing I noticed is some lethargy and lack of motivation, but once I get going motivation is high, it's really just that initial motivation to get off your ass, once you do your good though.

    Just to go into stats a bit. My weight's down 5 lbs, since my original post (15 days ago), I'm cutting right now so that's welcomed, I'm also using Ephedrine + Caffeine with the 11-OXO, I'll be stoping that once I introduce the H-Drol. I haven't lost any muscle since coming on Cycle and probably added a very little bit, but most importantly, I've lost bodyfat and it's certainly noticeable.

    I really wasn't expecting the 11-OXO to kick in this fast, last time using certainly was a slightly different case. So far I'm loving this compound at 600mg, if I can continue to lean out at this rate (especially int he mid-section), I'll be a super happy camper. Nothing I have ever used has leaned me out this fast and this much.

    Regarding the H-Drol, I'll be introducing that this Saturday, two weeks into H-Drol I'm going to begin increasing my calories so that my final weeks of H-Drol are 500-1000 calories over maintenance.

    Also if a mod sees this, could you change the Furazadrol in the title to 11-OXO

    It's been another week, from this point on, I'll be trying to update the log more often now as the compounds should be kicking into higher gear (11-oxo at least). Five days ago, I began introducing the H-Drol, as intended beginning with 50mg, no changes to report yet, I don't expect anything out of H-Drol really until around week 3.

    Since my last post....

    Last week, my libido was high and climbing, this week it's leveled out.
    I'm continuing to lean out more and more every week there's a noticeable change.
    Last week my strength was climbing, this week it's leveled out, no notable increases this week.
    Last week, I mentioned improved recovery time, it's now significantly improved, I could probably take a 10 second rest in between sets.
    Vascularity is getting ridiculous, I'm seeing veins that I didn't know I had previously.
    Appetite was elevated, but this week it has returned to normal.

    No new sides to report.

    Current Stats @ week 3:
    Height: 6'5
    Age: 27
    Weight: 218 (-7 since starting, -2 since last week)
    Bodyfat: 12-13% (-1 to 2% since starting, no measurements this week)
    Arms: 17.35 inch (right), 17.15 (left)
    Bench: 210x6 (+10)

    Overall I'm very happy with the results thus far, better than anticipated, especially this early on. I'm hoping to hit 216 before week 3 of H-drol, then I'll be switching over to a clean high calorie diet to take advantage of the H-Drol and begin a bulk.

    Another update.

    At this point I'm into my 4th week of 11-OXO @ 600mg and 2nd week of H-Drol. I'm now running H-Drol @ 75mg and intend to keep it there the entire way through. Either way the last couple of updates were pretty similar, some changes in this one. I'm also pulsing Ephedrine + Caffeine one day on, one day off, I'm monitoring my BP closely and only using the EC on days where I don't have activities planned.

    Since my last post....

    Libido was high then leveled out, now it seems low.

    The leaning out has slowed down considerably, seems like since my last post I've plateaued in regards to slimming down. I've made some small changes to my diet, mostly just adding in an extra day of cardio (swimming) and reducing carb intake by around 15-20%.

    Strength is starting to jump pretty noticeably, all lifts are up at this point I would say overall strength is up around 10%.

    Endurance and intensity is very high, I'm finding it hard to get myself out of the gym, I just want to keep going. Recovery in between sets is significantly reduced, I could probably take 10-15 second rests in between sets.

    Vascularity is ridiculous.

    Sides:

    Lethargy begins to set in, but it's there in a very manageable amount.
    My sleeping pattern is altered, sleeping a ton, having problems getting up.
    Testicle size is reduced, most likely indicating I'll probably be shut down at the end of the cycle decently, thank god for Nolva
    Aggression, or lack of patience. I'm usually pretty patient but definitely have a short fuse right now and little tolerance for bull****.

    Weight: 219 (-6 since starting, +1 since last week)
    Bodyfat: 12-13% (Probably a bit leaner than this now I'd say 11-12%)

    I basically suck at any type of logging, should just do final reviews. Anyway to those who were looking for better posts here, I apologize. Let me throw an update here and then ill do a final write up in a week + few days.

    Things are going as expected for the most part, strength is up big time at this point, I'm increasing weight once a week on every exercise. Size is up as well, since I'm cutting it's kind of hard to judge based on the scale and things of that nature, but if I had to guess I'm up about 5 Lb's right now and have continued to *slowly* lean out.

    Weight loss has come to basically a crawl as of the end of week 3, I'm basically down to the really stubborn fat (lower stomach in particular etc). I've altered my diet slightly and have begun ramping up the cardio, I'm basically just doing a short 10-15 minute stint of HIIT after all workouts (except legs). Seems to be making some changes but still a work in progress.

    Sides have started to creep in, nothing serious, just the usual inconveniences in particular libido is shot, minor random aches/pains and back pumps. However luckily I can deal with these via Taurine etc.

    Overall I'm pretty happy with the way things are going, I would next time probably not run the 11-OXO as long, seems to not really be as effective past a few weeks of usage.

    Current Stats @ near end of week 4:

    Weight: 220 (-5 since starting, -2 since last week)
    Bodyfat: 11-12%
