    435x7 deadlift

    http://sharing.theflip.com/session/8.../video/4932777

My deadlift finally seems to be improving and getting back to where I used to be. I'm hoping to pull 500+ at my meet in August......haven't pulled 500 in a couple years.
    best lifts:
    bench press 380x1 315x7 225x 25
    squat: 525x1
    deadlifts: 520x1

Great lift. It seems that your not getting too much power out of your hips though and muscling the weight up with your back, I had this same exact problem. I looked at the Mark Rippetoe break down of the deadlift set-up, and readjusted my form and that really helped my hips initiate the movement...speed pulls helped as well. Good luck man.

I have always had that problem, how exactly did you adjust your form?

Well first I took a look at my form, it was pretty good to start with, as is yours but I just tried to perfect it.
    1. The bar cuts your feet in half
    2. Take a narrower stance
    3. Bend only at the waist when going to grip the bar and don't bend the knees
    4. Take a grip just outside your quads
    5. Bend your knees so that your shins come in contact with the bar

That along with a few speed pulls, doubles or triples at 50% from a deficit, or at 60% from the floor, really helped.
