Hey guys, just wanted to know if 7 cups of coffee a day would hurt me? I'm around 15 and my mom usually only drinks her coffee fresh so she will make a whole pot drink 1 cup and ill have the other 4. She usually brews 2 pots a day which comes out to 7 cups a day.
Will this harm my cut? Or am i looking at any health issues in the future?

"Everyone thinks they're on their way to single digit body fat as soon as they see a blurry four-pack in the right lighting.Your final body weight at 5-6% will be a lot less than what you think.Talk to me again when you get in contest shape." I'd be willing to say that 95% of people on this forum accomplish nothing in years, don't be one of those people. It's sad, they seem to have the knowledge many don't but can't utilize it.

The problem with all that coffee is becoming addicted to the caffeine. If you try to come off of it you may not be yourself or you won't function too well.
I've been pretty good, just doing what I have been
The more he drinks the worse it will become as well. I used to work with people who were real a$$holes to be around if they didn't get their morning pot of coffee, it's pretty messed up."Everyone thinks they're on their way to single digit body fat as soon as they see a blurry four-pack in the right lighting.Your final body weight at 5-6% will be a lot less than what you think.Talk to me again when you get in contest shape." I would ER on the side of caution man, your 15 and your bodily systems havent fully matured, especialy your adrenal glands...
7 cups will have you buzzing all day, probably get jittery after 3 cups with hand tremmors,
You might set yourself up for ADRENAL FATIGUE (coffee aftects the adrenal glands) a couple months or a year down the road. (this effects sleep patterns ect that will disrupt your bodies own ability to heal/grow)
and you may actualy hinder your cutting progress (do you drink straight black or with sugar and milk?)
I think coffe can be beneficial to someone cutting but i'd use it an hour before your workout and MAybe in the afternoon.
Trust me when i was 20 i thought caffiene was harmless, i myself drank 6-7 cups a day.. i could litteraly RUN ALL DAY! at work non stop....but 7-8 months down the road i Burned out BIGTIME.... sleep patterns, adrenals thyroid..everything was whack...
trust me cut back to 1 or 2 cups a day or even not at all at your age...
(do you also drink caffinated pop man? or energy drinks?)

Here is a little scientific jist (yes negative srry coffee lovers).....
Coffe ingestion
results in the secretion of more cortisol which increases the production of lactate. Studies so far suggest that high level of cortisol shrivel the division of the brain that is responsible for memory. High volume of this hormone affects your immune system and decreases your body?s power to resist infections. If you take more than >3 cups of coffee daily< then it will result in the depletion of your adrenals. If the adrenal gland is over stimulated, it may result in fatigue, insomnia, weight gain, depression and a weakened immune system. Usually, caffeine stays in people?s system for about eight to thirty hours.
The presence of caffeine in the system leads to the release of more glucose in to the blood stream followed by a stern fall in blood sugar. Coffee also provides more stress on your kidneys.
^^ and as a side note the high glucose could affect insulin levels/secretion.. and when your blood sugar falls you will probablycrave and reach for a high carb treat
