What pitchers will get 20 wins this year?
What do you all think? My top 5 would be.
1.The freak
2.Matt Cain
3.Zack Grienke
4.Doc Holiday
5.Chad Billingsley
My sixth would have been The Nats, But they already passed 20 .

While we're joking here, I'll add Chien Ming Wang to the list.

So a guy who has 9 wins with 1 more start before the halfway point of the season can't possibly reach 20?
.......ok

Im surprised to see so many people on everyone's list.
You do realize that right now at this point most teams are either right at the halfway point or are a game or so past the halfway point right? There's only 5 people even halfway there, one of them in Greinke who has a sh*tty KC team backing him and needed a phenominal first half to get to 10 in the first half anyway. 2 others are Wakefield and Slowey, both of which have an ERA above 4.
So the only two with any real shot to me would be Halladay and Marquis.....and Marquis wont make it

Wins is a gay stat anyway. How many teams have good starting pitching, a non-piece of crap bullpen, and good offense?
Give up 16 runs in 5 innings...If your team scores 17 in those 5 IP and holds you get a win...
Meanwhile, go 9 IP giving up 1R and lose 0-1...Too bad.
It's horse****.

Boston's already played 81.... so they're already past the halfway point...

I didn't say i think all 5 of them would get 20 wins, Just the top 5 i think have a chance. Marquis does not have a chance, The Rockies are going to slow way down. Plus Bills is going to get his 10th today for the Dodgers.

<---------strong math skills
I think Beckett has an outside shot. Yea, I'll be called a homer, and that's fine because I probably am, but considering how god awful he was in March/April (2-2 7+ ERA) and how dominent he was in May/June (7-1, 1.9 ERA) I think he has a chance.

Doc would have a good shot if the jays could put the offence up to help him get those wins.
