to my external hard drive to free up space?

My Documents. My Music. My Pictures. My Videos. If you have any other folders containing music....move that because music takes up allot of space.

Move anything thats data files, but not applications. If you want to move an application uninstall it and then reinstall it on the other drive. You might be able to free up a good amount of space (and speed up your comp) just by uninstalling anything you don't use.

Move your documents/movies/music. Don't mess with program files or system files.

There is not anything else you CAN move. If you move programs then they will not run. You can not move any system files or windows will crash. Your best bet would be to uninstall any programs that you don`t use anymore.
