why do people say neg me if x happens, then delete thread when it does?

i left firefox on last night with the misc on it, and this thread caught my eye:



so when i saw it again this morning, i checked the tennis results at: http://www.wimbledon.org/en_GB/index.html

and what do you know, i try to enter the thread that guy made and it's long gone :P and he's still in the green too.

cliffs:
