Ive been doing a fairly clean bulk, probably close to 3k calories a day (I dont really count calories though I would just guess its around 3k most days). Lifting heavy mostly and switching it up going high reps just to shock my muscles. I also change my exercises for each body part every week or two

I looked about the same as your 'before pic' when I started a few months ago. I'm coming on slowly but your change is brilliant! great job!
Which supplements did you use?
Did you have a strict diet?

If you havent been keeping your eating like it should be, then you have only seen half of your potential. Your body is a machine. In the gym you are breaking down muscle fibers and stressing your system. Outside the gym in the days following your body will attempt to repair those fibers and build them back stronger to adapt. Now in order for your body to have everything it needs to do that, you must feed it 24/7 with high protein meals and slow digesting carbs every 2-3 hours.

yeah I mean I do all of that, but Im, not really keeping my macronutrient ratio in check and all that. I do get protein in every meal and complex carbs throughout the day just not keeping anything strict..its summer so Im drinking and smoking so its hard to keep a real strict diet haha

Lookin alot leaner. I know it's hard to think of it when you're taking pics, but try posting before and after pics of the same pose. You get better feedback that way.

you only live once man haha, I rather slow my progress a little by drinking and smoking while having fun than being strict as hell and not having fun

Strict as hell and not having fun is a point of view. Learn to know the dark side and you will achieve a power greater than anyone.
