Recall On All The Whey Products

Not sure if this had been posted yet, just a heads up-

All the Whey announces a voluntary recall of the following lot numbers, as a precaution:

9108 9115 9122 9129 9136
9143 9150 9157 9164 9171
9178 9185 9192

These lot numbers refer to Whey Protein Blend; Whey Protein Concentrate; Supermass 600; and Optiblend.

These products were produced and distributed on April or May of 2009.

holy ****, just when i thought all the whey was worth it, imo will never try it, i'll try to go with more quality companies, that don't have these issues.

All the whey products was a misleading/misreadable title, I thought every whey product out there was being recalled ha.

cuz its cheap as heck, besides this ive never really seen anything negative about ATW/MGN the only time i used their product i thought it was just fine

I decided buy cheap whey twice. One time, I gave it away. The other time, I couldn't find anyone to take it, so I tossed it in the trash.
I only buy XF products now.

SAN had a recall on protein too. I don't understand the procedures some companies must be using but I can tell you that every single batch of XF proteins must be tested and I have full clearance from labs before I even take posession of it in the distribution center and then begin selling it.

It might be a little inconvenient but we will never have to worry about recalling protein which may harm people

fair enough, i mean this one instance is enough to have me not buy from aTW anymore, but i dont regret the one time i did.

Anyway, im with you, i plan on XF only once i run out of my myofusion.

What SAN products, damn i liked their Infusion and Myojuiced. Good to hear batches are tested, just picked up th 5lb choc mint back to only using XF whey and UP 1.0 for me.

If anyone has a Muscle Gauge Nutrition product containing those lot numbers, here is some info. I emailed MGN regarding this issue:

"I currently understand the situation with the current recall with all the whey. Muscle Gauge nutrition is not affected by this recall if we were affected a notice would have been sent out to all customers .....in any case if it was part of the recall as many companys have been affected by this companies such as dunkin donuts and many other large companies as with all recalls there are huge legal ramifications..i have spoke to a representative from all the whey regarding the situation and its linking to Muscle gauge and nothing came of it. the represeentative from all the whey stated that the lot numbers issued only have a link to the day it was made...the files from those days are then pulled and the master batch record if the main link to the recall product....in any case the recall is being taken care of by the milk specialties plain view plant so it is not a situation where its a monatary issues as all expenses would go to milk specialties plainview....if you are truly concerned about the product you are more than welcome to mail it back.....and we will send out new product but we will not be responsible for the shipping costs....as our prices are low and we already offered free shipping...in any case all MG products are tested before it is packaged and shipped and all tests were negative...please let me know what steps you would like to take...and we hope you can remain trust full of musclegauge nutrition."

FYI, this is not necessarily a reflection on ATW's quality, it's a bigger issue.
