Ezekial bread
What kind of ezekial bread do you recommend? At Kroger there are five kinds, and I stood there forever looking @ the nutrtional facts label. Also, once you buy it do you keep it in the freezer or fridge? Taste? I just don't want to spend the six dollars for it and get the wrong kind/ or have it be yuck. thanks

I assume you are referring to the food for life brand
I have had every kind of bread of theirs, and I would say that the sesame is the best. The regular is kindof bland, and cinnamon sortof limits what you can eat it with cuz it doesnt go well with some things. The sesame is really good.
If you are going to be eating it within the next week or so, just keep it in the fridge and it is fine, but if you are going to be keeping it for longer, keep it in the freezer. But if you want, you can buy a few different kinds and keep them in the freezer. Just toast them and they taste great
I would also recommend their biscuits. Biscuits are usually an unhealthy food, made with buttermilk and butter, but theirs are really healthy and really good in the morning with some poached eggs, peanut butter, etc.

I think whatever kind you would like better. Its all organic with no flour so just get the kind you will like best.
I pay 4.19 here for a loaf.

Agreed, that stuff is so good. Toast it and put sludge on it, or sunflower seed butter, or apple butter, or eat it plain. It also work well making healthy french toast. Ezekiel bread is the best bread taste wise IMO, but it is expensive. I'd recommend the cinnamon, but I haven't tried the others cause Im hooked
oh, and I keep it in the freezer, works fine for me

I love them all, from 7 grain, original, to low sodium. Although if you plan on making some french toast than don't get the low sodium, it falls apart way to easily.

It's a blend of sprouted grains & legumes (no flour), this is great for 2 reasons
-sprouting breaks down proteins into amino acids, making it easier for your body to utilize them (1 less step your body has to do)
-it's also a complete protein so it has a larger variety of essential amino acids than regular bread
I also think its higher protein than other bread but I'm not sure.
OP, I like French Meadows Hemp bread. It has 14g of protein a serving and 10(?)g of fiber. It makes amazing toast with a crispy crust.
Food for life makes hamburger & hot dog buns that are great though.

I only like Ezekial bread toasted and usually with a bit of Olivia spray. Raisin bread and the regular kind are my favorites. Toasted with natural PB or almond butter is good with the regular kind also.

Whole Foods/Trader Joes/etc. They're also in the frozen aisle at my Albertsons, local grocery store, next to the Morningstar/Boca stuff.. so you might find them at your local one there.
I should try them sometime as everyone on here loves em, I haven't been eating bread lately though.
