I always thought it would be a nice plus to be a liscensed massage therapist as well as a personal trainer.
Work the out. ( Have them shower) then massage therapy session.
Bad idea?

I went to massage therapy school but stopped practicing when I started my training business. I used to work at an upscale hotel and worked with the ATP tennis tour when I practiced massage.
It became too hard for me with my own lifting schedule and I was having trouble with my forearms and thumbs.
I plan on getting some additional training in Rolfing and Trager.
Really anything that you can use to help your training business you should use to get a leg up over the competition."It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others"

Like everyone said it is a brilliant idea. Myself, I am recently certified as a NSCA-CPT and I go to school for Physical/Health Education, so it looks good that I am going to school for something very similar. I also think of it as a way to keep yourself busy, because I am going to be going to school for Massage Therapy next year as well and looking to get NCBTMB certified so I can be a licensed MT which will give me things to do in the down time. Overall, its a great marketing approach.
