Hate to sound like i'm putting you down here but even if you have trained before this and there for going light, the tecnical side of things was still very poor, no rotation, locking out of the punch, gaurd constantly low, regularly re-setting the bag with hand rather than moveing to acomidate for the swing amongst other things, if i was you i would protect my hands also (wraps and gloves) as this will reduce injury and wont make you any less of a fighter.
pitter patter punchs will do nothing, if you want to learn how to punch get to a boxing gym and have someone show you.
