Why is the ring of fat on your stomach the worst?

This area of fat seems tobe the most difficult. It accumulates there easier and it hardest to get rid of. What your guys opinions?

It's just genetics, some people have it worst in other places, some people have fat distributed evenly throughout their bodies, it just depends on the person, but most people do have it on their stomachs, as where women get fat in their lower body, thigh area, etc.

I know, I would say 90% of my bodyfat seems to be around my stomach, my arms are skiny and even have some definition, my legs are pretty skinny too, I just have what looks like a beer gut.

Google "Monkey" and "Ape" and check out some pictures. They all have pot bellies too. Hmmmmm....wonder where we get it from. It's genetics man, you can't change it...only fight it.

Funny how that works out isn't it? For whatever reason we have "problem areas" where we store MOST of our fat. Imagine if most of us men stored it all in our chests, that would be gross.

Be glad you're not female, they get it on the butt instead, which is worse. Although it would help to have a padded seat I guess.

I know how you feel. I have lost a good bit of weight and still trying to get my 6 pack....

pretty sure the reason is to provide insulation/padding for your vital organs
