What kind of shoes do you wear with shorts in the summer?

I've always been a gym shoes guy but thinking of switching to sandals. Here is what I'm considering:

Flip flops (are there any that are comfortable and look decent?)

Adidas slide

leather slide or something like this (http://www.dsw.com/dsw_shoes/catalog...=185059&brand=)

Teva sandals

Skechers slip on (something like this: http://www.skechers.com/shoes-and-cl...ndorsive/sand/)

So many choices. What kind should I buy? Looking for a couple pairs that look halfway decent.

I wear abercrombie flip flops because they are cheap cuz I used to work there. They're pretty comfortable. Reef flip flops or rainbow are probably you're best bet.

I also wear Sperry's with shorts for the summer

Can you do a lot of walking in Reef flops?

My hate for Sketchers is immense. THey are so incredibly ugly i dont understand why they are worn.

Do Chacos trump Teva sandals? There are a couple places nearby that sell Teva but I've never seen Chacos. where do you buy them?

can you do a lot of walking in them? Thought maybe I'd buy a pair of flops and another pair I can do a lot of walking in (like Teva). But I don't see too many 20 somethings rocking them around here.

& you can buy them at rock climbing// outdoors stores.

Are they worth buying even if you don't do rock climbing? Easy to break in? Can you wear them pretty much anywhere?
