Ah, the joy of blueberries!
Blueberries are on sale for $1.49 at the grocery store and the containers are 16 ounces!
I
LOVE
BERRIES!
I'm bloated as hell right now, but that 16 oz container was worth it.
Now if we can just get the price of raspberries DOWN to something reasonable ($4 for 6 oz? pfft), the world would be a better place.
Anyone else here have berry love?

I'm with ya on the blueberries, but I'm partial to strawberries, while I could care less for raspberries.

On sale for that where? I buy them frozen for $11 for 3 lbs, and that's at Wal-Mart. I've never seen them anywhere for a buck in a half per pound.

Whoa. I can buy them frozen at Trader Joes for $3 for 2 pounds. I suppose you don't live where there is a Trader Joes.
My local grocery store here (Pathmark) has them fresh and on SUPER sale now.

berries for life! =O
straw, blue, & raspberries are all about to come into season right now. & when they do, they're hella cheap! i'm talking like a full bucket for under $5, i think. but in the off season, we get them from cali, & they're expensive as hell.
we're also close to another region in my province that sells peaches, cherries, etc. (the okanagan.)
lucky me! & let the fruit frenzy continue.

I hate the watery mutant graped sized ones you get from the supermarket, but wild ones = win. Now If I could only get off my ass to go pick some.

I'd love to live where you do; 200g (not even half a pound) of blueberries cost about 2 euros around here, which is the same as 2l milk or a pack of 10 large eggs.

None of you know what the "joy of a blueberry" is until you've had fresh picked jersey blueberries.
