I'd be surprised if the greater general strength in your hams, glutes, and back from back squats wouldn't be be just as good if not better than front squats for getting your dead up.
I was actually just checking out your youtube a second ago.... have you considered taking a "top down" approach to your deads? I think it'd make things go a lot smoother.http://youtube.com/user/Kiknskreem
