It wasn't that bad...
Driving some chick home from a pool party and she got to talking how she didn't feel comfortable in her bathing suit. Said stuff along the lines of, "I just feel so out of shape and fat..." and some other stuff about genetics. So to sound concerned and not too over the top since I just met her I told her "c'mon you weren't that bad."
apparently that was not the thing to say. "That bad" implies it was still bad which not only pissed her off but now she is "never going swimming again." After she was done telling me how insensitive I was she didn't say a single word the rest of the way. You woulda thought we were dating, I barely even got her name much less her number. Thank God Poison was on the radio, would have been awkward.
