Since losing weight I find my feet are colder, but they've always run a little under, same with my hands it seems.

check your blood sugar levels maybe sounds rather freakish but you could have developed a type of diabetes? thats normally what would cause scars/cuts to not heal properly in diabetic people. just some advice dont put it off any fuirther and go see a MD

How much training were you doing to lose the weight? Might be glutamine deficiency. Taking L-Glutamine might help you out a bit. That's just a guess though.

If you lost it quickly, it's normal. After a month or two of maintaining, it'll go away.

Your diet in check? Getting enough calcium? Start taking a multi-vitamin if you aren't already and make sure you're eating healthy and enough.

Alan_86, taking any supps that contain caffeine? If you have circulation problems like Renaulds or other similar ones, caffeine will make you veins constrict further. I'm cutting now and taking a fat burner and it makes a big difference on how my hands/feet feel in the cold weather.

Not sure what the deal is, but it's weird because I used to always be hot.

yea i drink a rockstar as soon as i get out of bed, then have breakfast, than pop a 200mg caffeine pill and head out the door. I take 2 centrum performance multi's, 1 in the morning and before i sleep. i dunno, i guess i'll just maintain now and cut in a few weeks.

I wouldn't worry about being diabetic you are just suffering from a lack of the insulation you previously had. Try supplementing with some Ginger root you can pick it up pretty cheap from GNC etc.... Also cut down the caffeine and consider drinking some Yerba Mate instead check out this thread---> http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=398412

Thyroid damage can occur from starvation or improper diets. High levels of cortisol can also block conversion of T4 to T3. Can't vouch for this doc, but I found this link to be a pretty good run down of what may be going on.

my fats are sufficient, i eat 18 almonds per meal which is 7 grams of fat/meal for 6 meals. also, tsp extra virgin olive oil when cooking eggs and veggies. plus i supplement flax seed and fish oil. i'm really worried about that thyroid disease, but most other members who posted experience the same symptoms so im not sure if this is normal or not

PROBLEM
I had the same problem on my really low calorie "starvation diet" not a good sign, the second I upped my caloric intake I am ****ing everyday and even twice in some cases, if your metabolism is that slow your body is trying to get all it can out of your food intake. It also is a bad sign for fat loss, you want a fast metabolism.
Also if you feel hungry eat!! I thought not too since I was trying to loose weight and i didnt need the extra calories. If I have learned one thing its to listen to your body, if you feel hungry eat something healthy, but eat. At your height 2100-2400 calories is ideal for fat loss. Also you need carbs for energy if ur working out, and good fats. Your diet should be more balanced then just high protein.

I feeld cold hands too, after weight loss
I just joined this forum for finding this topic interesting.
I do have similar symptons to me. After diagnosed as pre-diabetic at the end of march-2009. I worked hard and ate much less. Dropped 20 pounds in one month but the side effect came.
First, I feel weak/dizzy after exercises. My solution was drinking more water. This problem is no longer as bothering now since it only bothers me when I move (from sitting to standing up) quickly.
Second, my hands feels numb and cold pretty often. It feels better or sympton gone if I got a good meal. Wondering if this is related to the issue of too much shortage of calories taken vs. consumed.
I have gone through several researches with several self-diagnoses. From dehydration to low blood pressure (mostly 90+/60+). I concluded that my BP should not be an issue though it does look low.
There is no new reply on this topic, hopefully, I can see some update on it.

All of you up your calories before I have to slap you >.<
You guys are suffering from one of the first signs of starvation: the inability to control one's body temperature. Though it can also cause the body to 'over heat', the most common form is extreme cold ( especially in the extremities).

It could be as simple as a loss of insulation folks. Someone above mentioned it also.
Fat people are always warmer, fat is insulative. Look at walruses and whales, or all cold climate mammals for that matter. Without healthy layers of fat they would freeze. Humans that live in those climates (the Innuits) are all stocky, heavy set endomorphs.

You are 6' with what looks like a lot of lean muscle mass @ 190lbs. If I just average out the ranges you gave me (250x6.5) that is around 1600 calories a day. Less insulation and not much wood to put on the fire = feeling chilly!

i've lost over 110lbs since my peak and find myself colder than normal all the time, likely because I'm no longer protected by a layer of blubber like a seal

I used to be pretty light and experienced this, the thing that has helped me the most is increasing my fat intake.
