    MIsc why does my elbows pop every rep of a pushup (srs)

    Everytime i do a push up no matter the stance; wide, hands near ribs, regular. Both my elbows pop and crack, it doesn't really hurt but it kinda scares me. Any idea wtf this is? I never get it doing any exercise lifting.

    I dont know what it is but one time me and my friend we doing pull ups and his elbow was popping and it popped something in it and it filled with liquid was awesome.... but he had to have it drained and packed so you might want to be careful

    Have you tried fish oil? It lubricates the joints. My ankles pop the most. I get it when I step on the clutch most of the time, or just from walking. I use fish oil, calcium, and glucosamine chondroitin + msm. I notice the problem has become less noticeable, or painful, since I started to take supplements for joint health. There is a good one with glocusamine, msm, and shark cartilage in the site's store. I'm gonna switch to that one next time I run out of these caps.

    dunno man, same thing happends sometimes when im doing flies. And my knees always crack, its weird but i dont think fixable.

    same thing happens to me, except not so much with pushups but things like lat pulldown and cable rows

    anyway, from what ive looked into the most popular solution is stretching the muscles surrounding the elbow (obviously forearm and triceps)

    other than that some people point to supplements like glucosamine and other joint health stuff but i havent experimented with that yet

    but yea, it sucks... ever since i started working out my joints (not only me elbows) have gotten increasingly cracky ESPECIALLY when i wake up in the morning and they are all stiff

    anyway, since its not painful i just ignore it but still, it does make you wonder if its going to be harmful in the future

    my right elbow does too

    I mentioned it to my doctor during my last physical and he felt it and he said theres no damage or anything like that and not to worry.

    So basiclly dont spend money buying all the extra supps that you probaly dont need and dont stop doing pushups either

    i hate that, whenever i start doing them, it takes me a few push ups to get it to pop and then it doesn't happen for the rest of my reps/sets. it feels weird trying to do them without getting it to pop.

    My shoulders click whenever I rotate my arm full 360 at full extension. It's kinda weird. No issues with the elbows though.

    ^^^ This. All my joints crack and click. I started taking supplements to see if it would help. I didn't really notice if it was working or not but after i stopped taking them i noticed how much worse it was originally. So yeah good advice!
