misc help me with my housing dilemma!!
so there is a 14 storey apartment complex being built literally NEXTDOOR to my house. yeah thats right 14 stories. thats pretty much a skyscraper right next to my house. i've put up with all their **** like bulldozing my whole neighbourhood and knocking down all the houses, as i am currently one of the only houses in the block. they have dug out a massive whole that is probably 200 feet deep no lie. with that digging brought much much dust, dirt and debris. okay put up with that. they get up at 6 in the morning to build **** and have all the massive cranes and bobcats and shovels with the beeping noses when they back up. thats okay i put up with that but now because they would not buy my house due to budget cutbacks they are still using my land.
by using my land i mean they actually come into my backyard, fuk the **** all up. grass is all gone, dirt is being used to build THEIR project like they own my backyard. there also is NO fence from my house and the 200 foot drop.
seriously i am supposed to come back to my house after a long day of work and relax but how could i when there is a 14 storey apartment being build and endless earthquakes from them digging up the ground, nosey construction and dirt all over the place.
misc please help me!!
cliffs:
14+ storey apartment being build RIGHT next door to my house
nose and dirt and rumblings disturbing me
now they are in my backyard wrecking **** up like they own it
they were about to buy my house but decided to screw me over and not but still intrude my land like they did buy it

OP nothing you can do about this. they have the right to build there. Im surprised they didnt try and buy your house out to make extra room. I guess they are waiting for you to get fed up and move

Sue. In America you have some right to be reasonably comfortable in your own home.

Not true, he CAN do something about it. He has a right, just as much as they have to build.

They probably have the right to use your land in order to aid theirs provided certain criteria are met.
Noise disturbance to yourself should be kept to a minimum, curfews should be enforced.
Any permanent changes must have your permission.
The safety of yourself and your property should be paramount.
Any damage done your property must be rectified at the end of the work.
I believe that's how it works in the UK.
