What if there was an animal bigger than the blue whale somewhere in the ocean?

Then I guess the blue whale would no longer be called the largest animal.

Why only a day? It's not like we'd be in a hurry re-filling it back up after leaving it empty for an entire day. I mean, there would be no life left to worry about, ya know?

The aliens would emerge and enslave humanity. We signed a treaty to prevent this back at the end of the great Human/Alien war of 6832 BCE

I believe we've only discovered bout 20% of our own ocean. We know more about space than we do in the deep waters of our own PLANET!
So I'd imagine there is some pretty insane **** way down below...
mind = blown below:
Bloop
Quote:
|
The Bloop is the name given to an ultra-low frequency underwater sound detected by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration several times during the summer of 1997. The source of the sound remains unknown. The sound, traced to somewhere around [show location on an interactive map] 50? S 100? W (South American southwest coast), was detected repeatedly by the Equatorial Pacific Ocean autonomous hydrophone array, which uses U.S. Navy equipment originally designed to detect Soviet submarines. According to the NOAA description, it "rises rapidly in frequency over about one minute and was of sufficient amplitude to be heard on multiple sensors, at a range of over 5,000 km." According to scientists who have studied the phenomenon it matches the audio profile of a living creature but there is no known animal that could have produced the sound. If the sound did come from an animal, it would reportedly have to be several times the size of the largest known animal on Earth, the Blue Whale[1]

Wat if there is something laying dormant in the deep dark depths of some canyon like 10km under the surface of the ocean and hasnt been up to the surface so we dunno of its existance.
I reckon if there was something down there it would look like a giant burrito and could possibly be up to 800m long and weigh up to 60 trillion tonnes.

Wow
Bigger than a blue whale would be amazing... we will have to wait till we can fully explore the ocean bottom tho... which who knows when that will be

The squid in those pics were humboldts I believe, not giant.
I saw the special on discovery.
They've only found carcasses of young giant squid, but they were enormous, so a full grown live squid would equal instant sh*t pants.
Also look up the "Bloop" sound, or something like that.
It's a sound the navy recorded on underwater mics used to follow subs. They say it was made by an unidentified animal that would have had to have been bigger than a blue whale.
