can you make your own blend? is it the same?

just want to be certain, if i add 1 scoop of my opt Whey and 1 scoop of my opt casein...i'll be getting the best of both worlds, correct? why wouldn't people do this? is there a cheaper alternative or something?

Mix away. Most people would not reccomend casein post workout though.

Casein is absolutely fine post-workout. Do some research. And "most" depends on what pile of bros you pick and throw in a bucket.

notice how i chose to say "most people" and not "myself personally''. Learn to read before you tell people to do research.

personally, though i don't care, i would assume casein is fine post workout AS LONG AS WHEY is in there as well. so question remains...bump...why don't we see people do this more often? is there a more efficient alternative?

Casein is a slower digesting protein than whey, so it is better suited for before bed since you won't be having any caloric intake for at least 6-7 hours.

Whey is better suited to be taken upon waking and post workout since it digests more quickly

Lets settle this with a knife fight.

Casein if fine postworkout. It is quite obvious that more people reccomend whey postworkout than casein. I also like simple and complex carbs PWO.

I also like peanutbutter PWO to add taste but once again most people would not reccomend this.
